This short course covers 6 lessons that explores the history and origins of chickens and other poultry,  the overall nature of caring for chickens, recognising breeds, the fundamentals of feeding and nutrition, health care, general management of a flock and the industry services and opportunities.   It is designed to take around 20 hours to complete from start to finish, with online short quizzes to check and review what you've learnt at the end of each chapter, and a final online test to receive your named, dated 'Certificate of Completion'.

Our 20 hour courses are self paced and will help you understand a topic in a short amount of time. You can work through the course when you like- test yourself with mini-tests along the way.
